The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Pentecostal District, Pastor I.T. Ariyo has described Christmas as the most abused festive period in the world.
Pastor Ariyo noted this on Tuesday December 19, 2018 while speaking at the Christmas Carols service of CACYOF LASPOTECH.
The Cleric noted that a lot of people make comments about Jesus Christ particularly in this period, but don't know Him, adding that dancing to the songs of Jesus or Christmas is not as important as accepting Him as one's personal Lord and Saviour.
Pastor Ariyo who is the Supervising Pastor of CACYOF said that the mood of Christmas is nowhere equated to how people understand the purpose of the season.
He urged the students not to be part of those who don't understand what they celebrate.
"Do not be part of those who don't understand what they celebrate. It is when you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour that Christmas is indeed meaningful to you," he concluded.
