CAC Ajijola Oluwa Zone Ogbomoso holds 2023 Refresher Course

 



Christ Apostolic Church Ajijola Oluwa Zone Ogbomoso has held the 2023 edition of her Annual refresher course.

The Annual event tagged "Our Father" relating to the church theme for the year, held from Thursday 27th July to Saturday 29th of July 2023 at CAC Oke Iyanu Zonal Headquarters.

In his welcome Address, the Zonal Superintendent, Pastor P. O. Adams appreciated God for the grace received, for sparing their lives and the full supporting till the day of the programme in spite of all challenges that befell individuals and the nation at large.

Pastor Adams told the participants that God depends on them to carry out His purpose on earth, saying that God will never delegate his work to three categories of people who are, strangers, babies and people who don't fear Him.

Exhorting the participants, the Zonal Superintendent exposited from theme, "Our Father" from the text, Matthew 6:9, that there is need to go deeper with our relationship with God which is the essence of our living, adding that God is expecting us to a have cordial and robust relationship with Him.

He concluded by imploring his audience that God knows His people, asking them that, "when last did God speak to you as His Son? When last did God discipline you as His son? When last God direct you as His Son?" urging the participants that God values our relationship with Him than the work we do for Him. 

The Guest Speaker, Bro Sola Alabi from Peace House, Osun State, in his lecture explaining the importance of building and maintaining a robust and functional relationship with God said that, "we must understand God and His fatherhood nature," while he explained that understanding God and His Fatherhood Nature is cardinal to achieving a fulfilled Christian life and service.

According to him, a man can not have a proper and flourishing Christian life without understanding God and His Fatherhood, likewise, it is impossible to render a fruitful and acceptable service to God without understanding Him and His Fatherhood.

Bro. Alabi concluded that the church and all the workers must have a robust relationship before with God, the heavenly Father before service in His vineyard.

During his lecture, the Ogbomoso DCC Superintendent, Pastor J.S Adegoke, appreciated God for the service of Pastor and Mrs P.O Adams, for their diligence in shepherding His people in the zone, praying for more grace on the cleric.

He also charged all the participants to make use of all the lectures they have heard, that they should not pile - up messages but practice them, which is what will take them to heaven.

The chairman of the programme, Pastor J. A. Popoola appreciated all the participants and all and sundry for the success of the 2023 Refresher Course, charging the participants to go home and build a strong relationship with their heavenly Father.
