In a bid to further the spread of the gospel and expand God's kingdom – a key role of the church – Christ Apostolic Church, Mount of Blessing, Calvary Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Warri, has appointed new church officers while unveiling plans to raise more leaders subsequently.
The DCC Superintendent, CAC Calvary DCC, Pastor Joe Jacobs, while addressing the church in Warri on Sunday, July 6, 2025, gave a briefing on some important facts about the CAC structure and administration, noting that effective training and development of church stakeholders is one of the goals of the church's President, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele.
On a similar note, he pointed out that raising and building God's people has been one of his pursuits since he came into the DCC in early 2023, a commitment he has upheld ever since.
He stated that during his tenure as DCC Superintendent, albeit brief, two workers' summits have been successfully held for workers in the DCC.
The newly appointed officers were selected from the fifty-eight new deacons and deaconesses, who were consecrated on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the DCC Headquarters.
The newly appointed officers include; Deaconess Adogbeji Justina as Chief Usher, Deacon Alimi Michael as Chief Security Officer; Evang Owoma Shadrach, Secretary as Bible Society of Nigeria representative; Evang Akinboboye Daisi as Treasurer, YOWICAN; Evang Akin Sanni as Coordinator, Upper Room Prayer Team; Deacon Ogunlana Daniel 'Dare as Publicity Secretary; Evang Fatona Damilola as Treasurer, Calvary District; Deacon Demi-Ejegi Sunny as Treasurer, Calvary DCC; Deacon Balogun Phillip as Finance Secretary, CAC Mount of Blessing; Deacon Tedheke Gladson as Treasurer, CAC Mount of Blessing; Deacon Esume Sunday as Assistant Secretary, CAC Mount of Blessing, and Deacon Omoboye Isaac Olusegun as Secretary, CAC Mount of Blessing.
He unveiled other training plans for workers and leaders across different units in the church for 2025, stressing their necessity.
Pastor Joe Jacobs also informed the church that specialized trainings are in the pipeline for all departments in the DCC, including the Choir, Ushers, Media Team, Security Unit, Teachers, Royal Shepherds, Good Women, and Men's leaders, among others.
According to the DCC Superintendent, God is set to use the Summit to make each of the workers in the DCC a better vessel of honor in His Church.
He maintained that attendance at the Summit is compulsory to renew the newly introduced licenses of elders, deacons, and deaconesses in the church.
He therefore implored all to adequately plan and prepare to attend fully.
