The Erio 2025 Power Explosion was a dynamic and impactful revival program held at the Mountain of Mercy in Erio-Ekiti State, themed 'Power Over Evil.'
The well-attended event was marked by a powerful manifestation of God's presence, resulting in numerous testimonies and life-changing experiences.
The Regional Superintendent of CAC Babalola Region, Pastor G.S. Dada, delivered a compelling lecture titled 'Origin of Evil.' He emphasized that God is not the source of evil, citing James 1:17, which affirms that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. This foundational truth set the stage for a deeper exploration of the topic."
Pastor Dada emphasized that God, the source of light and life, is the Father of lights, characterized by unwavering consistency and no shadow of change, underscoring the steadfastness of God's light.
Pastor Dada further emphasized that Satan is the source of temptation, citing Jesus' experience in the wilderness as recorded in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. After 40 days of fasting and prayer, Jesus was led by the Spirit into a time of testing, where Satan presented various temptations aimed at derailing Him from His divine assignment.
Pastor Dada warned that the surge in humanity's sinfulness isn't due to the growing presence of darkness, but rather the diminishing presence of light. He emphasized that sin entered the world through the devil's evil influence and cautioned that Satan strategically places temptations before God's children. When tempted, individuals are often lured away by their own desires and passions, which can lead them astray.
Pastor Dada declared that God desires us to choose life, as stated in Deuteronomy 30:19. He emphasized God's faithfulness in providing a way out of every temptation, assuring believers that they are not left to face trials alone, as promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13."
Pastor Dada concluded by highlighting that evil enters the world through Satan's influence, but it's also fueled by our own desires and enticements. While the devil is the originator of evil, we have the power to choose which path to follow – one of righteousness or one of sin.
