In furtherance of its efforts to create a mutual understanding between the church youths and the Pastorate, the Directorate of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship has introduced a new column on the numero uno news platform of the church, CAC News tagged 'Youth Corner.'
In a release signed by the Director of Youth Affairs, CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, exclusively obtained by CAC News, the column will have a short message each week (precisely Monday) to sensitise our church leaders, especially pastors on the need to accommodate the youth and be committed to their growth so as to retain them in the church.
Pastor Gbuyiro noted that it's obvious that many of our Pastors are not youth-friendly and are indifferent to youth development; adding that by their body language, they send the wrong messages to the youth, which is pushing them out of the church.
"To stop the incessant exodus of youth from CAC assemblies and secure the future of the church, it has become imperative to be intentional in growing the church as it determines the growth of the church. To achieve the above, our pastors must be rightly informed of their responsibility to grow the youth," he concluded.
