Happy birthday to DCC Superintendent of CAC Somolu Olaleye DCC, Pastor Akinyomi

 

The Church of this generation, just like in the days of 'the Apostles' is blessed with many anointed and God fearing ministers of the gospel who their contribution to the growth of Christianity in this generation cannot be overemphasized.

One of such ministers is the DCC Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Somolu Olaleye DCC, Pastor J.O. Akinyomi who was born on this day over 60 years ago. 

HIS BIOGRAPHY

Pastor Joseph Oluwemimo Oluwafemi Akinyomi was born into the family of late Pa Abel Akinjobi Iwayemi Akinyomi and late Mrs Oseyemi Akinyomi in Ode-Irele, Irele local government, Ondo state. He attended St. Thomas catholic primary school Odigbo Ondo state. After his primary school, he proceeded to methodist secondary modern school Ode-Irele where he obtained modern three certificate and proceeded to high school. He attended methodist high school Okitipupa,Ondo state where he passed out with WAEC. He did several professional courses. He was a catholic church devote from age 7.

HIS MINISTRY

He attended life Theological seminary Ikorodu where he acquired Advance Diploma in Theology and B.TH. To upgrade his knowledge in the ministry he proceeded to ICI University IRVING TEXAS where he bagged B.A.(HONS) in Theology. He attended African church growth and ministry, he was awarded PGD and PHD in church ministry.

He has worked in various churches in Christ Apostolic Church. He was the pioneer pastor of the first English speaking assembly in Itire 1992-2002. He is the planter CAC Authority of Christ Church, Lawanson where he pastored from 2002-2013. He was posted to CAC Source of Blessing, Idimu Convention District 2013-2014. He was transferred with promotion to CAC Ile-Ayo Ejigbo district, Ejigbo in 2014-2017 and transferred with a double- promotion to Christ Apostolic Church Shomolu Olaleye DCC where he is presently the DCC Superintendent.

His major areas are teaching and deliverance ministries. Pastor Joseph Oluwemimo Oluwafemi Akinyomi, pioneered the Christian Leadership Training Centre in 1993 which later metamorphosed into CAC THEOLOGICAL Seminary Lagos Campus.

He left CACTS and founded Christ Foundation Theological Seminary Lagos where he was the provost of the institution. He is a vast conference and seminar speaker. He has trained and mentored many ministers and leaders to the glory of God.

He is happily married and blessed with phenomenal sons.

Christ Apostolic Church Somolu Olaleye district is now experiencing God in a new dimension through his apostolic teachings and practices.
