The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has said no one can obtain God's blessing by fasting and prayer, living the life of Christ is the only required principle.

He noted that living the life of Christ should be our labour and our vocation, adding that it is against the law of the Spirit and it is unrighteous in the part of God to sponsor any life that is not of Christ.

Pastor Gbuyiro stated this on Tuesday May 11, 2021 while ministering on the topic "Blessing Without Stress" at CAC Oke-Ado DCC headquarters English Mega Assembly, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.

According to him, you can't live your own life and enjoy the blessings of God and you must be ready to labour for the life of Christ because that life will terminate other labours.

He said the life of Christ is a life that loves to be challenged and not pampered, adding that this is the reason why God may decide not to provide your need when you ask but instead will definitely provide it when you need it because he loves to be challenged.

Referencing to the life of Abraham, he said Abraham didn't hesitate when God asked him to sacrifice his only son because he understood that God would meet his need at the right time.

Pastor Gbuyiro said the reason why most of us run helter skelter is to avoid shame, but our God is one who loves to be challenged, so that He will transform our shame into glory.

"Just like a lady decides to carry a bag and place all her needs inside a bag, it's this same way God has packaged everything we need to live a blessed and  fulfilled life inside one bag which is Christ Jesus. We don't need anything because everything we need has been packaged inside Christ Jesus. Only Christ life can release this blessing, you can't be living a life of sin and be expecting blessing from God," he stated.
