The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has urged everyone who wants to have a Christian home to let Jesus Christ build them, saying that Jesus doesn't build the home for man, He builds the builder - the man.
He said so many people want Christian homes, but without being a Christian, you can’t have a Christian home irrespective of how you desire it because it can’t be gotten by mere desire of the heart.
Pastor Gbuyiro stated this on Monday November 17, 2020 while ministering on the topic “A wise man builds his house upon a rock” at the ongoing Fire of Pentecost 2020 organized by CAC Chapel of Blessing District Headquarters, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Taking his text from Matthew 7:24-27, the Youth Officer said the teachings and principles of the kingdom are not meant to build things for you, but to build you.
Quoting Matthew 7:25, the Cleric said only what a wise man built can withstand and survive the challenges of life and tests of time.
He however added that the wise man is the person who does the will of God.
“You are a fool when you live by or form your lifestyle and base your marriage on what others say and not the sayings of Jesus. The works of a fool including his/her marriage will not endure, stand, or last. Rather, it will fall,” he said.
