90th Anniversary: Remembering the 1930 Revival by Pastor Tolu Mala

πŸ”₯ Heaven kissed the Earth.

πŸ”₯ The Fire Fell.

πŸ”₯ The Glory of God was revealed.

πŸ”₯ Revival as of Old.

According to an eyewitnesses account, on this day July 10, in the year 1930, precisely 90 years ago at Oke Oye Street, Ilesha, Nigeria, God used Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ at 26 years of age to bring back to life from the dead Ogundipe, a ten-year-old boy who was going to be buried according to Yoruba traditional religious rites. The meeting of the Faith Tabernacle Movement's leaders was held on July 9 and 10, 1930, to discuss issues on the use of western and traditional drugs versus divine healing, polygamy, and whether polygamous husbands should be allowed to partake of the Lord's Supper and many other doctrinal issues. It was also the day scheduled to formally introduce Joseph Babalola to the leaders of the Faith Tabernacle. While the meeting was holding, a mighty Revival πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ such as never seen before, suddenly broke out as God used Joseph Ayo Babalola to pray for the dead boy, and he came back to life. The miraculous manifestation of God's power introduced Ayo Babalola, and there was no argument that God's hand was indeed upon him. The power of the Lord did many mighty works ( raising of the dead, the opening of blind eyes, healing of the deaf and dumb, cripples walking, deliverance for people in bondage, healing of different illnesses and diseases) and countless souls turned from idolatry and other faiths to accept the Lord Jesus as their saviour.

The boy Ogundipe who was raised back to life later, died in 2002 after 72 years at the age of 82. I had the opportunity to connect with Pa Ogundipe, and I also met his son, Mr. Ogundipe, in the year 2002.

All the leaders of the Faith Tabernacle Movement at that time, Isaac Babalola Akinyele, David Olu Odubanjo, J.B. Esinsinade, S. Adegboyega, Onasinwo, Babatope and others all embraced the move of God, and the fire spread far and wide to different parts of the world. The Ibadan 1930 revival like that of Ilesa in September was also unprecedented, where God used Daniel Orekoya a sexton to raise a woman Abeo back to life. The woman Abeo was pregnant, and she had been dead for four days. Oh Lord, please send your power as of old to the church.

Oh Lord, please send Revival Fire as of old again.πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯.

Mo fara mo Olorun Babalola, Mo fara mo Olorun Orekoya, Ona iye yi ye yin o Mo fara mo Olorun Akinyele, Iye re o Omi iye.
