By 'Gbenga Bankole

As 2019 Academic Summit starts today at Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state, some of the  participants have expressed their expectations.

The Summit which holds from Wednesday 17th to Saturday 20th, 2019 is designed to build one big family out of various CAC campus fellowships and promote social interaction among teaming youth of the mission on campus.

Below are the comments of some of the participants who spoke exclusively with CAC NEWS:

Ayodeji A. Faniyi, Fellowship Coordinator, Kwara state University, Ilorin, Kwara State

"For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God..... Romans 8:19"

My expectation is that, as the theme implies which is "the manifestations of the sons of God", The Holy spirit will be revealing to me through the servants of the Lord the mystery, power and the Authority concerning been a Son of God and likewise gives me an accurate understanding about the areas I have been empowered by the Grace of God even before the Creation of the World as God has said to Jeremiah that he had ordained him before his birth, so as to know where I am to reveal the nature of God.

I am looking forward to be enlightened in my understanding and opening of my spiritual eyes to the plan of God for my life. One cannot come to this kind of Academic summit without been stirred up in the spirit to pursue that which God wants to make of us especially a Youth like myself and I know that many youths that come for this summit will be blessed academically and reach the apogee of their career and likewise fulfilling the purpose in life..

I pray that as we have come to this summit, we will never return the same way we came in Jesus Christ name..(Amen)

Timothy Olukayode Akanji,
Edo State Polytechnic Usen

To the glory of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I believed this year Academic Summit will be great.
My expectations as it begins today; according to the theme "Manifestation of the Sons of God," I so much expect teachings that will liberate young people of CAC from religiosity and bring us to real spirituality in the knowledge of who we are "CHRIST."

I expect teaching that will liberate us from childishness and make us mature to sonship because only Sons can be heirs of his father's inheritance.
Quickening of the spirit, that will birth hunger for God and evangelism in our campuses.
Impartation of academic excellence.
These to say but little are my expectations from the programme as I strongly believe that we are the future of revival for this generation and in our Church as God is preparing us for it.

Thanks for this privilege Sir

Abiola Stephen Aanuoluwa, FELLOWSHIP COORDINATOR, The Federal Polytechnic, Ede

I personally want to thank God for the opportunity given to our leaders to receive a vision like this Academic Summit that bring together all CAC Youths on Campus across the federation.

My expectation from the summit is to widen my understanding, receive enlightenment and impartation so that I as a son of God will begin to manifest in all spheres of life.

Thanks for this opportunity.
