The authority of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide on Saturday 9th of December 2017 formally inaugurated CAC Vineyard of Mercy (VOM) District Coordinating Council, Sabo-Yaba and inducted Pastor Anu Ojo as the DCC Superintendent.
The authority of the church was represented by the General Superintendent, CAC Worldwide,
Pastor S.O. Oladele and General Secretary, Pastor Mapur.
Pastor Oladele who was standing-in for CAC President, Pastor Abraham Akinosun conducted the inauguration of the VOM DCC and induction of Pastor Ojo as the Superintendent.
While preaching at the programme which was attended by District, Zonal and DCC Superintendents both in Nigeria and overseas, the Pastor Oladele advised Vineyard of Mercy DCC not to rest on their oars, charging them to keep it up
He further advice that VOM should not loose what they have which he mentioned as salvation, holiness, uprightness, zeal for God's work and good testimony among others.
Pastor Oladele noted that our forefathers in CAC held on to what they have and believe, adding that if they did so, we also should not loose what we have.
The newly inducted Superintendent of the DCC, Pastor Anu Ojo while delivering his opening night speech said that when the VOM was birthed on February 5th, 1996 at 47, Okedele Ogunniyi Street, Anthony, little did many people know and believe that they would go this far and fast.

He said he knew that he heard God clearly when he said to him that he should plant a church of congregation of saved people, worshippers, praisers, and servant-leaders.
According to him, favour has made VOM grow into many branches with many potentials, leaders and ministers around the world emerging from the root/foundation.
"For many years, people have wondered and asked why someone like me has not been a Chairman or Superintendent because of my year of pastoral ordination, my commitment to our great mission and possibly my Christian lifestyle and gospel propagation around the globe. To this, I have always responded it is not position that will make me but I will make positions. I also tell people that craving or fighting for position is not a priority to me, but seeing lives and destinies being transformed and fulfilled is my ultimate plight," he said.
He said the inauguration of VOM is DCC and himself as DCC Superintendent is the first of its kind in CAC Worldwide.
He further explained; "Our Fathers, the Authority of the church lover us, believed so much in us and elevated us with a double promotion; from District level to District Coordinating Council level without having to first become a zone. This is what favour can give out. Other favourable benefits are also attached to make this day come to pass in its due season, which personal statement and letters have indicated to the Authorities of our Mission."
