The Senior Pastor Christ Apostolic Church, Chapel of Testimony, Oyingbo Lagos, Pastor Bunmi Babatunde has stated that the church identify by experience with King David's Testimony of the living God in Psalm 18 vs. 31-36.
Pastor Babatunde made this comment yesterday Sunday 10th December 2017 while delivering the welcome address at the church 19th anniversary.
He said that the God of our Fathers who led Isreal out of Egypt who gave them momentum, and who removed ancient hindrance; the mountains, the hills; the seas and Jordan- until they settled in their promised land, is proving Himself strong on their behalf.
"It is another year of anniversary celebration; but this time around with a bold drive for Kingdom Expansion. At the eve of this year, 2017, by divine inspiration, it was declared "The Year of Evangelism." Therefore, capping it up with a city-wide crusade is a Command Performance. With the deepest sense of appreciation and doxology unto the Almighty God, we celebrate the loving-kindness and the faithfulness of our saviour, Jesus Christ the Lord. He has been to us a refreshing dew, making our roots firmer and our branches fruitful," he said.
He noted that the months and years ahead, they eagerly anticipate the goodness and loving-kindness from the Lord whose hand all blessings flow.
The anniversary thanksgiving of the church started on Monday 4th to 9th of December 2017 with an open air city crusade.
