The President, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria & Overseas, Pastor S. O. Oladele has emphasized the significance of spiritual empowerment in Christian ministry.

In a sermon titled ‘Power for Service’ delivered at the 51st Ministers' Wives Conference Ikeji II of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria & Overseas under the theme "Spiritual Power and Gifts for the Body of Christ", Pastor Oladele charged the women.

Addressing the gathering of Ministers' Wives from Akinyele, Essien, Akilling, Pearce, Babajide, Odusona, Olutimehin, and Hanson regions, Pastor Oladele said "It brings me immense joy to gather with you once again at this conference. As we reflect on the blessings bestowed upon us by the Almighty, let us not forget the significance of His grace in our lives. Indeed, all that we are and all that we have are gifts from God, not entitlements."

Delving into the sermon, the Clergy stressed the necessity of revival and spiritual empowerment in contemporary times.

"Just as Jesus promised power to His disciples and it was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, we too are empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve, not for our glory, but for the edification of the Church," he asserted.

Pastor Oladele urged attendees to introspect their roles as ministers' wives and as Christians, emphasizing the need to utilize spiritual gifts for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

He cautioned against the temptation of seeking titles and positions within the Church for social prestige, highlighting the indispensable need for divine empowerment in ministry endeavors.

According to the CAC President, "True service requires more than mere titles; it requires the power of the Holy Spirit working within us."

Quoting the words of Jesus, Pastor Oladele reiterated the paramount importance of spiritual empowerment in fulfilling the Great Commission, saying that "without the Holy Spirit's power, our efforts will be in vain, and we will be unable to withstand the forces of darkness that seek to undermine the Church."

Pastor Oladele urged attendees to embrace the promise of the Holy Spirit's power in their lives, emphasizing humility and surrender to divine guidance.

"Let us be filled afresh with the Spirit and go forth as bold witnesses for Christ, impacting lives and glorifying His name," he said.
