The 2024 Christ Apostolic Church Census has been approved to hold between Sunday April 14, 2024 and Sunday, May 12, 2024.
This was disclosed in a circular signed by the General Secretary of the church, Pastor E. E. Mapur, dated April 4, 2024.
CAC News also gathered that during the General Council Meeting of the church held in March 2024, the Church Authority encouraged the maximum cooperation of all and sundry towards the success of the census exercise.
All pastors across the church assemblies are enjoined to fill the hardcopy census forms obtained at the council meeting, and proceed to submit to their District Headquarters from where the census officers will collect and meticulously input them on the mobile App.
"Accuracy in data entry is crucial to the success of this endeavour," the circular read.
Emphasizing the need for cooperation with the church authority and accuracy of information, Pastor Mapur added that the census exercise is "conducted solely for information purposes, aimed at enhancing our understanding of the demographics within our church."
