Preaching on the topic: "Stewardship of Personal Capabilities", the gospel music czar admonished the congregation to always remember that God divinely deposited in them some specific competencies and talents expected to be used for God's purpose before they were born, citing Jeremiah 1:5 which says ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.’

He told them that, "God has ordained you for a purpose, hence everyone must utilize his/her giving gifts and talents to promote the kingdom of God. Everyone will account for their services before God Almighty."

Taking his texts from the book of Exodus 31:1-5, Matthew 25:14-30, and Ecclesiastics 12:13-14, the Clergyman tasked the congregation to be wary of acts that can make one beclouded with arrogance, disloyalty, and spiritual laziness in the discharge of their God’s assigned duties.

He stated that God gives people diverse gifts that include: Administration, Apostleship, Craftsmanship, Discernment, Encouragement, Evangelism, Faith, Faith-giving, Healing, Helping, Hospitality, Intercession, Knowledge, Leadership, Mercy, Miracles, Prophecy, Serving, Shepherding, Teaching, Wisdom, Tongues and Interpretation.

Adding that these gifts must be consciously and carefully used for the purpose given by God, he reiterated that complete loyalty to God and the authority of the Church is sacrosanct in all ramifications of service.
