Impossibility doesn't exist where God's grace is properly harnessed, fully engaged, says Pastor Gbuyiro at 2023 Academic Summit

"Impossibility doesn't exist where the grace of God is properly harnessed and fully engaged. Grace speaks of God's ability with which He helps man go beyond human limitations, overcome all difficulties, and achieve excellent performance in every field of human endeavor," the Director of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro said this yesterday while delivering the keynote address at 2023 Academic Stars' Summit.

Speaking further on the theme of this year's summit which is "Grace for Exploits" (text: Daniel 11:32), Pastor Gbuyiro stated that grace is a divine provision made available by God, and it's much more abound to the natural man as he ventures into the realm of the supernatural.

He further stated that there is no reason for God to lower His standard or adjust His demands when He has released grace to man as capacity for possibilities and exploits.

He, however, said that our response to His grace will determine our strength or limitations in fulfilling God's purpose.

"We are challenged by Paul's disposition toward the subject of grace as the only credential needed to fulfill God's mandate. His overwhelming testimony of exploits is enough to challenge and convince us of the dynamic of grace that must be engaged for exploits in life and ministry. I am what am by the grace of God. At a point in Paul's journey of faith, he became overwhelmed with challenges and afflictions, hoping for quick intervention from God, but against his expectations, God said. 'My grace is sufficient for you...' and his peace was restored immediately because he was never in doubt of the workability of the grace," he stated.

Pastor Gbuyiro stressed that it is highly imperative to be determined and passionate in our quest to know God personally, which is a condition for unleashing grace's capacity for exploits.

The CAC Youth Director opined that the compelling reason why we must not take the grace of God in vain lies in its ability to perform exploits, adding that it takes a correct understanding of the subject of grace and deliberate engagement with it to make any impact in the life of faith, because failure to operate from the throne of grace will declare us unfit even for the smallest assignment in the body of Christ.

"It's worth noting that there are enough provisions and resources for us in the grace of God to reach the expected heights in God and also fulfill His purpose on earth without being exhausted at all. There is no better way to prove our readiness for the next move of God in our land and the world at large than a show of prompt response to God that we are willing to come boldly to the throne of grace to find help and tap strength for the race set before us. The kind of change and exploits that we deserve can only come through men and women who carry and showcase the grace of God as the only credential at their disposal, he said.

The day one of the Academic Summit specially organised for students, corps members and academicians across higher institutions in Nigeria and abroad was a manifestation of Holy Spirit. Each section of the programme blessed lives for grace for exploit. It continues today at Olashore Hall, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State. You can watch it LIVE on @cacyofoffice (Facebook).
