It was indeed a day of prophetic blessings and soul lifting songs at the Prophetic Victory Hour organised by Christ Apostolic Church, Victoryland, Calvary Zonal Headquarters, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
The interdenominational quarterly prayer program, themed 'From Victory to Recovery,' held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, drew a packed crowd at CAC Victoryland's auditorium.
Highlights included prophetic ministrations by CAC Calvary Zone Superintendent Pastor I.D.O. Akinpelu and CAC Agbala-Itura DCC, Lagos Superintendent, Pastor Isaac Abiara, alongside stirring performances by renowned gospel singer, Minister Esther Igbekele.
The programme started with a prophetic and spiritual awakening session anchored by CAC Calvary Zone Superintendent, Pastor I.D.O. Akinpelu.
Pastor Akinpelu dissected the revelation behind Esther 9:1, spurring the congregation to aggressive prayers as they gained spiritual enlightenment.
Using the NIV Bible, the Clergyman highlighted how God turned the tables against the enemies of the Jews, emphasizing that He still intervenes on behalf of His people, and can do the same in the lives of believers today—if they pray.
While encouraging people to pray, he emphasized that God knows our desires even before we speak, and that no battle is insurmountable for prayerful Christians.
The program received another boost when renowned gospel singer Minister Esther Igbekele took the pulpit, ministering through song. Her powerful performance not only thrilled the congregation but also issued a stirring call to repentance.
The guest minister for this edition of the programme was Pastor Isaac Abiara, Superintendent of CAC Agbala-Itura DCC, Lagos. While charging the congregation to pray to recover every lost virtue, he said it's not only material things one can lose, one can lose integrity or good name.
Pastor Abiara admonished the congregation to embrace five advantages God provides to take dominion. He emphasized that mercy, grace, and favor are among the essential elements needed to assert dominion.
The clergyman implored the people not to be offended when those they expect to be supportive are absent. Instead, he encouraged them to make Jesus their friend, emphasizing the reliability and comfort found in Him.
He further said that no matter how people love you, when you're going through tough times, they won't always be there for you. And despite their encouragement, they may still do things that discourage you.
Pastor Abiara charged the congregation to encourage themselves in the Scriptures, noting that with over 365 promises in the Bible, there is a promise applicable to every situation they may face.
