A call has gone to Christian students in the campuses of various higher institutions of learning across globe not to join the multitude to perpetrate evil, but emulate Jesus Christ by being disciplined.

The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi made this call while charging students at the just concluded 2023 Academic Stars' Summit organised by the Directorate of CAC Youth Fellowship, held at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun.

He pinpointed indiscipline as one of the major problems that led Nigeria to her present situation because of lack of inner circumcision.

He further said that Jesus Christ was disciplined and that was why when the devil brought before Him the offer of turning stone to bread, he never fell for it, urging the students to be disciplined and let people glorify God in their lives.

Emphasizing on the need for circumcision, Pastor Odejobi explained that; "when I was at Government Technical College, Owo, I was leader of Christian Youth Movement, but not circumcised. I thank God for the day I met with Pastor Kumuyi through his tract. I read the tract which has been used to clean an excretion, but God used it to encounter my life. The title of the tract was "Others May, But I cannot." It was from the spot of reading the tract I evaluated myself and I discovered that I wasn't right with Him and I amended my way."

The General Superintendent told the students that God wants their hearts, not your certificates.

On steps to become a disciplined Child of God, Pastor Odejobi said one must know Christ, accept Him and enter into Him, stating further than 70 percent of Christians are not in Christ, they may have accepted him or know him, but it's by being in Him we can become new creatures.
