The Director of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has asserted that the only and greatest gift God has bestowed the Christ Apostolic Church is His Spirit.

The Cleric boasted that there is no spiritual gift not found in CAC, as there are great apostles, teachers, evangelists, pastors in the mission, adding that, "God has been so gracious to us that we should proud of who we have been called to be."

The Director of CAC Youth Affairs stated this while delivering a lecture titled "The Apostolic Youth in the 21st Century" on Friday, 26th August, 2022 at the ongoing 2022 Ikeji 1 Youth Conference held at Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp Ground, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

The Youth Director of CAC who expressed that the world is facing a lot of problems and challenges so much that immorality has pervaded the world, stated that "every youth must respond to the Apostolic calling, it's not about title but lifestyle."

Speaking to the youths, the clergyman said that, "having the church and Christian faith built on the foundation of the Apostles expresses God's eternal pattern for us to model and measure up to."

He continued that, "God's intention was to raise Apostolic youths by giving us this faith pattern to follow. Christ Apostolic Church being the mother of all Pentecostal churches in Nigeria makes every true member of this church a carrier of apostolic calling upon his/her life because that remains our foundation. Living in the 21st century does not change this divine order and it is the right time to shout it aloud that we belong to the EAGLE family and stop mingling with turkeys and chickens around."

The cleric defined an Apostolic Youth as one who "is a spiritually balanced, mentally sound, morally undefiled, faultless, emotionally stable, socially responsible and physically healthy and decent youngster (Genesis 39:6; 41:38, 1 Samuel 16:18, Daniel 1:8,19-20). Living in the 21st Century with pressure from among his contemporaries does not change his biblical perception to life though he still maintains relevance. He is timely, godly and earthly relevant and rapture ready like other youths in the Bible."

He identified that Apostolic youths are distinguished in religious and secular folds, by God's Spirit where the cleric explained that by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, every child of God who is a youth will survive the challenges of the last days.

"Living in the 21st century is not an error because we have all that it takes to survive in this end time," the Director asserted.

Pastor Gbuyiro continued that, "Apostolic Youth are distinct by their fervency and persistent prayer life. Apostolic Youths are distinct by their strong conviction and resolution to live for God. The Apostolic Youths are distinct by God's mentality. The Apostolic Youth is distinct by his unquenchable desperate burden for revival. The Apostolic youth is distinct by being an embodiment of the natural, spiritual and moral beauty. The Apostolic youth is distinct by being an embodiment of the natural, spiritual and moral beauty. The Apostolic Youth is distinct by death to sin, self and the world."

The cleric expansiated that prayer is a relationship with God, describing that Apostolic youths "are known as prayer men. We are not living what we are not praying. To them, prayer is a fellowship with God. We don't pray because we are in needs. Prayer is a lifestyle."

"They know there's no other way to overcome temptation than living a prayer life," he added.

Explaining the calling and making of Apostolic youths, the Youth Director said that, "as an Apostolic youth, there's a ministry. Because of that ministry, discipleship is meant to prepare you to be who God wants you to be and do what God wants you to do."

"Why God is taking every Apostle through discipleship is that there is a ministry God has called them to be," he explained.

The CAC Youth Director announced that, "the apostolic youth is created for ministry. Saved for ministry. Called into Ministry. Gifted for ministry. Authorized for ministry. Commanded to ministered and equipped for ministry. Needed for ministry. Accountable and will be rewarded according to his/her ministry."

Pastor Gbuyiro concluded that, "If you are not doing anything for God, don't expect any reward from Him. And God is not expecting you to do anything for him if you haven't followed through His process."
