The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inducted Pastor E. O. Adeleke as the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Ayeni Zone, Pearce Region, Mafoluku, Lagos.
Pastor Adeleke who was transferred from Saje Zone, Abeokuta, Ogun State is now the fourth Superintendent of Ayeni Zone.
He was inducted on Sunday April 10, 2022 by the Regional Superintendent of Pearce Region, Pastor S. O. Aluko who represented the church's Authority.
While ministering at the programme on the topic "Building God's People" culled from 1st Corinthians 3:1-9, Pastor Aluko told the newly inducted Superintendent that; "the primary assignment God is giving to you is to build up His people, assist the people of God to gain a better status with Him, with consistency and persistency because building is a continuous thing."
Quoting Matthew chapter 16 verse 18 which says 'And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it'; Pastor Aluko explained that during the process of building or being built up one has to be patient, submissive, be available, gather and learn a lot so as to be strong enough and be able to withstand the storm when it arrives.
‘’To build up takes time, to destroy is fast,’’ he added.
He noted that the word of God is a building machine, emphasizing that one of the vital tool of building up oneself as a child of God is through examining the word of God on daily basis.
Pastor Aluko further said that the Word gives strength, power, directions and we all need to be available and build by the Word.
"Are you teachable? Are you not filled up with pride or ego of 'I know it all.' Are you not 'a multitude' because only the multitude are unteachable. Respect your minister of God, they are God's gift which are sanctified, consecrated, empowered and commissioned to the church of God to build it up for the sake of heaven," he concluded.
