The remains of late Mrs. Victoria Adeyoola Akinosun have been laid to rest. Late Mrs. Akinosun who was the wife of the former and retired President of the Church, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun died on Monday, November 22, at a private hospital in Ibadan

She was laid to rest at Akinosun's residence, C14, Ife Olu Street, Off IGEM, Airport Area, Idi-Obi, Ibadan on Friday February 5, 2022.

After the interment, an outing service was held at CAC All Saints' Chapel, CAC General Secretariat, Ibadan.

While ministering at the programme on the topic "The Antidote to Death", the General Superintendent of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi taking his text from the book of Colossians chapter 3 verse 3, said

the greatest enemy of mankind happens to be death and we hate to hear anything concerning it.

He noted that the day one arrived on earth we called it birthday, but it should be called "bad day".

He further said that it is a day when one is weeping without being beaten, noting that the real birthday was the day we confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. "It is a day of emancipation that causes jubilation," he added.

He described the weeping of a new born baby as evil, and it's better if one weeps to the earth, but it would be a disaster if one weeps in Heaven.

Pastor Odejobi stated that the weeping of a new born baby is as a result of  remembering where God positioned us (Garden of Eden) that we lost, saying it is a garden of grace where Adam didn't ask for anything but he was given all.

The Cleric who further said the garden was a garden of glory, also said it was a garden of life, no room for death nor anything that brings about death.

"It is a garden of knowledge. Knowledge is not needed in Heaven because it has both positive and negative sides. It is through knowledge we provoke God to negative reaction," he said.

He also said it is covetousness that made Adam and Eve ate the fruit, same covetousness is everywhere today.

The General Superintendent while emphasizing on the need for people to give their lives to Christ said we must trust, obey, walk and work in the beauty of His holiness.

He urged those who haven't been baptised by immersion to do so without prejudice.

The burial programme ended with a reception at Oba Akinyele Primary School beside CAC General Secretariat in Ibadan.
