It was a memorable day on 11th December, 2021 as Christ Apostolic Church Oke Imole, Iju Ota District, Atan OTA Zone, was inaugurated and Pastor & Mrs Stephen Oluwalogbon Folorunsho was inducted as the pioneer District Superintendent.
The inauguration/induction Service was conducted by the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Atan-Ota Zone, Pastor Noah Adeniyi Popoola. Who represented the church Authority.
Other ministers who graced the inauguration/induction service are: Pastor Festus Ogunoye, the Zonal secretary Atan OTA Zone, Pastor S.I Adeniyi, Iju OTA District Evangelist, Pastor J.O Olootu, Pastor Adebayo Ojopagogo, Wife of the Z/S Atan OTA Zone, Matron G.O Popoola and many others.
Expressions of joy and excitement was all over the faces of the Elders, Deaconesses, CACMA, the Good Women, the Youth and the entire congregation.
One of the key features of the programme is the appointment of new Deaconess by laying of hands which was coordinated by Pastor N.A Popoola.
While Ministering at the inauguration service, the Zonal Superintendent of Atan-Ota Zone spoke on "Understanding your service unto God" took his text from the book of John 15 and Act 8:30. He exhorted the Elders, Deacons and newly appointed deaconesses to see their appointment as a call to service and must work together with the District Superintendent inorder to move the District forward.
The Cleric also encouraged Ministers, Workers and members of the District to give their full support to the man of God in order to help him succeed in his new role.
Moreover, Pastor Popoola commended the good works of one of his best son in the Zone, Pastor Folorunsho and encouraged him to be more focus for greater reward ahead of him. Above all, he congratulated the Church on the new status as a District and pray for the success of the new D/S and District.
The newly inducted Superintendent also give all glory to God for the giver of live and for the Success so far. Also appreciate the Zonal Superintendent and the entire District for their support to make the day a success and memorable one and he pray that the Lord will reward the labour of love.
