The Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Iyemetu Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Pastor Benjamin O. Akanmu has been formally inducted as the Chairman of Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), Oyo State Chapter.

Pastor Akanmu and 11 others were inducted on Tuesday April 27, 2021 by the National Chairman of CPFN who is also the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele in the service held at All Saints' Chapel, CAC General Secretariat, Ibadan.

While ministering on the topic "Those Things that are Surely Believed among us", Pastor Oladele said God is more concerned about our way of life not minding our denomination.

The Cleric who said Message of Repentance is one of those things that are surely believed among us said the gospel of the cross is the gospel of repentance, adding that such message is not common on many pulpits.

According to him, whenever anybody is proud of wealth accumulated, it shows that such person has poverty of divine credential.

Other things that are surely believed among us according to him are Holy Spirit baptism, water baptism and second coming of Christ.

"Holy Spirit baptism is our heritage and we should not be ashamed to manifest the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is what made the Apostles stronger in their times. Even when you have been baptized by the Holy Spirit you have to do water baptism. It remains one of the cardinal doctrines of Apostolic Christianity," he said.

The newly inducted Chairman of CPFN, Oyo State, Pastor Akanmu said while delivering his acceptance speech that it is an honourable thing and a huge call to duty for him to be inducted as the Chairman.

He noted that it is a call to serve and that is exactly what he will do by the grace of God, adding that he promised not to disappoint Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and Christian Association of Nigeria.
