The Chairman of CACTV and member of JABU Council, Engineer Joseph Adebanjo Adenle has been buried at Ilese Ijebu on Saturday November 27, 2020.

The burial concluded a week of funeral activities which began on Monday with service of songs in various places.

Pastor Adenle died on October 7, 2020 in his sleep. He was buried at the premises of CAC Miracle Center, Ilese Ijebu, a church he planted a few years ago.

Preaching at the outing service, the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun, extolled the virtues of Pastor Adenle whom he described as a generous giver, a committed Christian and a man of peace.

Pastor Akinosun in his sermon titled: "Death is a way to rest" said Adenle has just gone to rest from his labour and all family, friends and relations that are pained by his death should rest assure that they will meet again on the resurrection morning.

He added that for Christians, death is necessary as a vehicle that would take them to their place of eternal rest.

"Adenle is only resting because he was a redeemed of the Lord. Redemption from spiritual death is a special gift from Jesus Christ to Christians", he said.

According to him, anybody who wants to have eternal rest like Adenle who served God and benefited mankind in various ways, must give his/her life to Jesus.

Recounting all the good deeds of the deceased, Pastor Akinosun asked the audience: "what would people say about you when you depart this sinful world?"

CAC leaders at the funeral were the President, Pastor A. O. Akinosun, the General Superintendent, Pastor S. O. Oladele, the General Secretary, Pastor E. E. Mapur, the Finance Director, Pastor J. F. Omitinde, The Transfiguration DCC Superintendent and a member of management council, Pastor E. O. Odejobi and Pastor C. S. Fasuyi, the Missions director.
