The Regional Coordinator of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Medaiyese Region, Pastor Kenny Steve has said the life of anyone who cannot make Jesus Christ his or her pattern for living cannot be important.

He said that what makes a man important in his world and generation is the pattern he has set ahead of him, saying that when you have a good pattern, then your life will become important and begin to make positive impacts into the lives of people.

The Cleric said the good works we have seen in Christ must reflect in our lives, we must behave and do good works and be good to everybody.

"Don't be only nice to people that are nice to you. If you're not nice to people who are not good to you, how will you win them for Christ? Let your good works be to everyone, whether in the church or outside the church.
Let Christ be seen in everything you believe and practise. Make sure what you believe and practice is godliness. Our speech, utterances or conversation must reflect the glory of God. They must reflect that indeed we have been transformed and born again," he stated.

Pastor Steve stated this while ministering on the topic "Making Christ our Pattern for Living"
at the second edition of the Living Truth Webinar Telegram Session organized by CACYOF Worldwide, held on the official Telegram group of the fellowship on Saturday May 30, 2020.

While quoting Colossians 4:6, Pastor Steve who is the District Superintendent of CAC Redemption District, Nyanya DCC, Abuja, noted that you must know how to speak to people, address people and answer questions and as a result when they hear the word of God coming from your mouth they will know that you're born again, and they will respect and accept the lordship of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The essence of Christ being our pattern for living, according to him, is to reflect our true identity as unique and peculiar people, as the salt of the earth and light of the world (Mat.5:13-16) and as ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor. 5:20).

He further said that it is to be an epitome of good model (1 Tim .4:12; Titus 2:6-8), be distinguished from the world and worldliness (John 17:14-19) and be rapture ready. (Rom. 8:1-5).

Pastor Steve said looking unto Jesus Christ, studying the scriptures, living a consecrated life and being prayerful always are the ways to make Christ our pattern.
