CAC Centenary Building, a showcase of God's faithfulness, says CAC President

 By Miracle Adeniyi

It was a landmark and remarkable event as the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas laid the foundation of the CAC Centenary Building at Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji.

The CAC Centenary Building, which was envisioned by the previous administration and brought to fruition by the incumbent president, Pastor S.O. Oladele, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, is expected to be completed within 24 months.

The building will comprise 18 Executive Rooms, 8 Special Rooms, 38 Standard Rooms, and 68 rooms/bunk beds.

The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele and his wife Mrs. S.K. Oladele, General Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji, General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, Financial Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde, and Missions Director, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi graced the event.

Pastor Oladele, in his address, disclosed that the Christ Apostolic Church celebrated its centenary in 2018, marking 100 years since its inception as a Prayer Group in 1918. He added that the Church Authority had envisioned constructing a Centenary Building as part of the milestone celebration.

He added that a contract in that regard was awarded to a contractor, however, circumstances beyond control made it impossible to commence the project as planned.

‘‘We thank the Lord who has made this ground-breaking ceremony possible today. This is quite significant in the sense that it marks the commencement of a project which not only fulfils our desire to have a souvenir for the Centennial Celebration but also will help in solving part of the problem of accommodation that people experience on this camp ground, especially during conferences. Furthermore, it is expected that this project will serve as a standard for other edifices that will spring up on this camp subsequently,’’ the President stated.

The Clergyman thanked the Management Committee (MANCO) of the Church for supporting the execution of this project. He also commended the Centenary Building Project Implementation Committee (CB-PIC), led by erudite Professor Pastor Anthony Olusegun ADEGBULUGBE, for its assiduousness in birthing this vision within the short period that they were commissioned to do so.

‘’I want to thank specially, our indefatigable General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye OLADEJI, for making the very first personal donation for this project, by giving a trailer-load of Cement. Also, I appreciate the Pastoral Ordinands in training for making a generous donation in cash to support this project, ‘’ he said.

The President was hopeful that the project can be completed in record time and put to use as intended with the support and co-operation of everyone.

He therefore, invited everyone to give their support either in cash or in kind to make it happen - e.g. cement, re-inforcement, granites, roofing sheets, paints, machinery or sundry appliances etc.

The admonishment of the President received instant positive response as other church leaders regions, DCCS, Zones, Assemblies, and individuals made tangible financial commitment towards the project.

According to the Project Committee Chairman, Pastor Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe, the CAC Centenary Building is a divinely inspired Project.

The Project which is estimated to cost about 2.5 billion naira is expected be completed within the time frame of about 24months.

The Project Manager, Pastor Tunde Asokeji called on members of Christ Apostolic Church to willingly support the project as they would be rewarded by God Almighty in manifold measures.
