The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun on Sunday March 15, 2020 visited CAC Victory District headquarters, Sanngo Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State.
Pastor Akinosun was accompanied by his Personal Assistant, Pastor Titiloye.
Pastor Akinosun while ministering charged the people to build a cordial relationship with God.
He noted that anyone who wants to enjoy God in all ramifications must have a relationship with Him and be walk with Him intimately.
While delivering a speech on behalf of the Victory District, Pastor O.C. Adeigbe appreciated God for the opportunity to have the President of the mission, Pastor Akinosun, in their district in such a time like this and inspite of his tight and busy schedule.
Pastor Adeigbe thanked God for the giant strides that the mission has witnessed and still witnessing since the assumption of office of Pastor Akinosun as the President of the Church.
Some of the achievements he listed are creation of regional administrations with able men of God in charge, restoration of the Pastors’ Conference to what it used to be in the days of yore, strict adherence to godly selection and sound training for the would-be pastors in CAC worldwide and the renovation and structural restoration of Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji to a standard worthy of the status of the Church.
According to him, some other achievements are the reconciliation move to bring the church to one fold one shepherd and the recently foundation laying of 5000-seater capacity auditorium at Ikeji-Arakeji Camp among others.
"We cannot but mention and recognise your support for this assembly in all facets of support, physical, spiritual and financial. These underscore the fact that your mind is very much with us though you are high up there, you always remember us all the time. The resultant effect of the support is the transformation of the church from wooden build-off to the current gigantic edifice, from ordinary assembly to district headquarters. Again, we are most grateful."
"Finally sir, our request. One day I brought a friend of mine who is also a Pastor in the Church on a visit to this place, immediately he entered into this place, the first statement he uttered was Pastor, this place is a DCC headquarters and I laughed, informing him that we are district headquarters and he continued by telling me that you don’t know who you are, if the authority of the church should visit this place, your upgrading is automatic."
"Sir, this is one of the confirmation of what we have been waiting patiently on believing that at the right time, we shall get there and here we are today, with the President of the mission in our midst and retinue of the authority of the Church on his entourage, I therefore on behalf of my District Superintendent, the Pastors, Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses and members of this district humbly request for an upgrading of our district to the status of a Zone in Christ Apostolic Church, praying and trusting God that this will be another reality in your time. We are not just asking for what we did not work for because I know that our records are there before you, most especially our performances in the area of Corporate Tithes, Seed of Blessing, Needy Offerings and other instructions from the authority of the church from time to time. In all these, we have never lagged behind and so sir, if we find grace in your sight, we are requesting for an upgrading not to DCC but to Zone," the Cleric noted.
