Sin may not always be reason for problems or affliction, says Cleric at Babalola Regional CACMA meeting

The Superintendent Christ Apostolic Church, Ibadan DCC, Pastor S.A. Omosanya has argued that sin may not always be the reason Christians have problems or afflictions.

He gave this clear submission while expounding on the topic “Work while it is day, for night cometh when nobody shall be able to work” at the Babalola Regional CACMA meeting hosted by the Ibadan DCC, on Friday, February 28, 2020.

It was indeed hilarious as history was made again at the premier Ibadan DCC, Agbokojo, Ibadan, Oyo State. Not less than 300 members of Christ Apostolic Church Men Association (CACMA) from many Zones and DCCs in Babalola Region comprising both Oyo and Osun gathered for the first time at IBDCC Headquarters, Agbokojo Ibadan for the rotatory annual meeting of the Association.

Pastor Omosanya in his address, gladly welcomed all CACMA officials and delegates to the meeting as he quoted from John 9:1-4.

He noted that if Jesus Christ had not been God in human flesh, He wouldn’t have been able to answer correctly when His disciples asked: “who sinned, this man or his parents that he was born blind?”

The cleric maintained that the conventional history of condemnations and commendations may not be acceptable within the Church as a reason for not committing ourselves to the work of God as Christians.

He added: "whether we are condemned or commended, we just have to work and that too “while it is day”.

According to him, a daytime may be referred as the time when we are still healthy or strong enough to pray, use our talents and spend our money.

Meanwhile, the night period according to him may speak of a time of sickness, old age or lack of money.

He concluded that Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us in His kingdom, therefore, let us all work harder to be there with Him.
