The Mission Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region, Pastor I.D.O. Akinpelu, said anything done outside the name of Jesus Christ is idolatry.



Pastor Akinpelu noted this on Friday November 15, 2019 at the grand finale of a three-day revival organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of CAC Transfiguration Hill, Sango District Headquarters, Sango, Ogun State.



He explained further: “it breaks my heart when I see Christians make cross and wear it around their necks calling it protection. This is not Biblical, we are only given a name that is above every other name that at the name of Jesus Christ every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord”



Pastor Akinpelu, who is also the Senior Pastor of CAC His Fame House, said encounter cannot be negotiated in the school of success.



He said “for anyone to define your life, the person must know what type of encounter you have experienced. It is encounter that brings glory into one's life.”



The Cleric said that success and failure in a person's life depends on who they have met in life or who they have missed in life.



He explained that the only true encounter that can change failure to success, heal all diseases and do wondrous things is encountering Jesus Christ.
