The English Assembly of Christ Apostolic Church,(Anointing Chapel) Latona Oshogbo, Osun state on Sunday April 7, 2019 started house fellowship.
According to the Minister in Charge of the church, Pastor E. O. Olowookere the house fellowship is never any man's brain child, but a divine invention and whatever programme ordained by God is always with a purpose.
He noted that it all began right from the garden of Eden according to Genesis 3:8, saying that the visit of the Lord God to man in the cool of the day is theologically significant to the beginning of fellowship, noting that though it seems not last then, but God still looks for a way to restore the lost fellowship by Himself through the Lord Jesus Christ (Emmanuel, Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:23).

Pastor Olowookere said for as many as that believe and accept the Lord, to such is the restoration of the fellowship meant for and the early church understood this, thereby became a more formidable force (Acts 2:42; 4:23, 24, 33, 34; Heb. 10:25).
"Critically speaking, our purpose is also to EXPERIENCE THE JOY OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, reaching the unreached and making the bond of love to become stronger. It is not to divide the church but to unite her through the smaller units care," he said.
The Cleric said they are able to create Osogbo into nine zones, and in each is a fellowship center.
He listed the zones as follows:
"1. Dada Estate Zone
Center:- Elder Popoola's Residence
2. Latona Zone
Center:- Mrs. Adejuyigbe’s Residence
3. Ofatedo Zone
Center:- Elder Ogunwale’s Residence
4. Ogo-Oluwa Zone
Center:- Professor Adewuyi’s Residence
5. Oke – Onitea Zone
Center:- Pastor M. A. Adegoke’s Residence
6. Okinni Zone
Center:- Mr Victor Ajewole's Residence
7. Ota – Efun Zone
Center:- Mr. Ola’s Residence
8. Owode-Ede Zone
Center:- Elder Alatise’s Residence
9. Owode-Ilesa Zone
Center:- Mr. Onifade’s Residence
Hopefully, we are trusting God to create more centers out of these zones in the nearest future."
He said the maiden theme of the fellowship was "The Joy of Christian Fellowship."
He further explained that;"if we said our aim is to unite the church and develop in all the members, mature godly characters, hence one of the factor is to employ a central teaching. Our House Fellowship Leaders passed through nothing less than three times of intensive training for the purpose. And I have let them know that there will always be a periodic training for updates and relevancy. In fact we have a time to come together for joint studies commonly called preview for the leaders."
Pastor Olowookere noted that
attendance was very impressive at all the zones of the fellowship.
He concluded that; "On this medium, I want to sincerely thank our father in the Lord, Pastor G. O. Obiwale (Osogbo DCC Supt.) for the prayers and support he is giving us in the English Assembly. Also the entire family of Anointing Chapel have always been positively responsive to any divine vision I received on their behalf. And lastly, the team that worked tirelessly from zoning, creation of centers and as well as co-writers of the fellowship manual, coordinated by my brother and assistant, Evang. Olufemi O. J. (currently in Pastoral Training @Ikeji Arakeji), I pray that you shall all succeed in life in the mighty name of Jesus."
