Worshipping of idols has been identified as the major hindrance to the development and fulfillment of God's purpose for Ilé-Ifè.

The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji stated this on Monday January 21, 2019 while ministering at the Day 1 of the ongoing 5-day "Ile-Ife New Year Power Revival" organized by CAC Worldwide.

According to the Prophet, the present Ilé-Ifè is fake, explaining that it doesn't represent the true plan of God for the city.

He said the plan of God is for Ilé-Ifè to be a place where you can find modern houses, big companies and hotels, good roads, etc.

The renowned Prophet however said idol worshipping is the major hindrance to the growth of Ilé-Ifè saying that majority of Ìfẹ́ Children who ought to bring development to the city don't want to come home again.

"When I was in Dubai last December, God told me that there ought to be more than four Dubai in Ile-Ife. The whole of Ilé-Ifè should as beautiful as Dubai. Ilé-Ifè that Heaven announced is where there are big organizations and basic infrastructure, not Ìfẹ́ that presently has old and dilapidated buildings," Prophet Hezekiah said.

The ongoing 5-day "Ile-Ife New Year Power Revival" continues today at Oronmiyan Memorial Grammar School, Road 5, Road 7, Sabo Ilé-Ifè by 5pm.

  1. May the spirit of God continue to manifest in CAC worldwide
