Authorities of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, have given fresh updates and sensitization on the upcoming census of the church to hold in year 2024.
In a circular dated Tuesday, December 19, 2023 and signed by the General Secretary of the church, Pastor E. E. Mapur, Superintendents of Regions, DCCs, Zones, Districts and Assembly Pastors, were reminded of the "church's plan to carry out a comprehensive census of the Assemblies, Districts, Zones and DCCs with a view to facilitate strategic planning for effective ministry," among other objectives the census is set to achieve.
Church Leaders are therefore, enjoined to assist in mobilizing youth volunteers through the regional youth coordinators to join other census officers in carrying out the exercise.
"Details of interested volunteers, including interested name, email address, WhatsApp number should be forwarded to the General Secretariat, Ibadan through the Regional Superintendents while the volunteers are to visit the link below and fill out the census volunteers form," the circular reads.
Interested volunteers, who will be paid stipends to cover logistics and others, and will be trained on how to carry out the exercise, are to volunteer via https://tinyurl.com/caccensusvolunteer
While the Church Authority assures confidentiality of the data submitted, ownership of the data from the jurisdiction, and that no assembly would be penalized or audited for the exercise, the cooperation of various assemblies is sought.
