The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji has charged people on the potency of the name of Jesus Christ.
Ministering at the 21st edition of the annual Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola Power Explosion, Erio 2023 held at Mountain of Mercy, Erio-Ekiti, Ekiti State, the General Evangelist said the name of Jesus is strong and can't bow for any name, it's the name that swallows bitterness.
Speaking on the theme of Erio 2023 which is "How Sweet is the Name of Jesus", the General Evangelist noted that from the beginning to the end of Jesus is sweetness, saying if bitterness has not gotten to its peak, you can't fully understand the sweetness of the name of Jesus.
According to him, the name of Jesus is strong and can't bow for any name, it's the name that swallow bitterness.
"If the name of Jesus is not sweet, our fathers won't stand by it. They stood in the sweetness of the name and they challenged darkness in their time. Charm or any instrument of the devil never had power over them. You need to know that spiritually the level you are is small to where God is taking you to," he stated.
Explaining further on the sweetness in the name of Jesus, Prophet Hezekiah told the congregation that; "as a Christian, if the spell of an unbeliever harms you, you're not a child of God."
Prophet Hezekiah implored the congregation to surrender their lives to Jesus to enjoy the sweetness in His name.
The General Evangelist also said; "not all afflictions in life are caused by Satan. At times God may allow satan to bring his affliction into one's life. If bitterness has not gotten to its peak, you can't see the sweetness of the name of Jesus. Despite the gap between the time man fell and the time Jesus Christ came, yet He still healed the wound man received in the Garden of Eden."
The 2023 edition of the annual spiritual feast would go down in history as one of the best since its inception 20 years ago. The one week programme featured different impactful sessions, anointed ministers of the gospel and gospel singers. Among ministers of God who ministered at the programme apart from the General Evangelist are; Pastor G.S. Dada, Pastor J.O. Makinwa, Pastor Anu Ojo, Pastor Kayode Adio, Pastor Akin Fasawe, Pastor Alalade and many others. Gospel singers are Yinka Alaseyori, Elijah Akintunde, Bisi Alawuye Aluko and many others.
