As the world is experiencing economic downturn due to the outbreak of coronavirus which has crippled almost all economic activities, the District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Peaceland District, Pastor S.O. Oke has told Nigerians that no matter how hard things may seem, difficult times never last.

He urged them to begin to see every difficulty or challenge as nonexistent, saying that most times biggest rewards come out of the most difficult and mountainous tasks.

The Cleric further advised everyone not to give up, adding that "you are almost there. JUST PUSH!!! With love, wisdom, faith in God, walking in the Spirit and prayerfulness, have positive attitude to God's work and his people. Be loyal and trustworthy. You will get to the promised land, God willing."

Pastor Oke stated this in his message obtained by CAC News entitled "Doing the Unusual, Getting the Unusual."

According to him, life is full of ups and downs, odds and events, challenges and celebrations and facing these are normal phenomena of life, adding that they are the ladders to progress, raw materials to success and steps to accomplishment.

He further stressed that those who run away from them never amount to anything in the programme of God.

"Life  is never a bed of roses. Challenges are to be confronted, difficulties are to be managed and problems are to be left for God to solve. To make it in life's journey we must be prepared to weather the storm which others are not prepared for. One can never stand out or receive the crown and other benefits until one fights the battle of life and wins," he said.

While taking the text from the book of Ruth chapter 1 verses 16 to 22, he said; "Ruth is always on mind when I consider those that made radical decisions in tribulation and consequently had their ways. The unusual thing to a carnal man or to the principle of logic is abnormal according to 1Cor.1:18-19 which says 'for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
