It was a great and fulfilled day on Saturday December 29,
2018 when the send-off service of the pioneer Regional Superintendent of Christ
Apostolic Church, Odubanjo Region, Pastor Samson O. Akinsulure was held at the regional
headquarters, CAC Oke-Igan, Akure Ondo state.
The service official marked an end to the 53years
ministerial career of the living legend with enviable track records.
Pastor Akinsulure undoubtedly was overwhelmed with the
presence of the authorities of the church and other notable leaders of the
church.
The programme has in attendance the General Evangelist of
the church, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji, Finance Director, Pastor J.F.
Omitinde, CAC Babajide Regional Superintendent and Pastor M.A. Ogundeji. Others
in attendance are the new Regional Superintendent of CAC Odubanjo Region,
Pastor D.I.O. Edoh, retired and former General Superintendent, Pastor (Bro)
D.O.A. Oloye, DCC Superintendent, CAC Oke Ibukun, Oke-Ado Ibadan, Pastor G.S.
Dada and CAC Oniyo DCC Superintendent, Pastor Olu Akeju among others.
While delivering its welcome address at the well attended
service, the Regional Secretary of CAC Odubanjo Region, Pastor (Dr.) ‘Dayo
Oluwamakin said Pastor Akinsulure made his life and ministry very lively as he
gave a lot of life to his years in service of God and humanity under the
umbrella of CAC Worldwide.
He said Pastor Akinsulure represented the very best in
leadership, which any human organization could possibly offer anywhere in the
world.
“As the leader and representative of the authorities of CAC
Odubanjo, our father set about his job with vigour and vitality by bringing his
vast experience and knowledge of human capital development into play. Within
one year of being in charge of Odubanjo Region, he successfully transformed the
region to become a model and pathfinder thereby setting the pace for other
regions created by CAC central authority. Through him, Odubanjo recorded a lot
of first in laudable programmes, projects and administrative competence.”
“Here are some highlights of his leadership accomplishments:
Odubanjo region was divided into axises for effective administration,
supervision and spiritual guidance of the Authorities at CAC Odubanjo. Regional
officers with specific areas of responsibilities were appointed. A first class
state of the art building was already built by Akure DCC and donated to the
region to accommodate the new regional superintendent. It is on record that Pastor
Akinsulure set up a well equipped functional regional office which served as a
rallying point for all DCC/Zones in the region.”
“Pastor Akinsulure simply put in incorruptibility of the
regional finances. Moreover, our father undertook a tour of all the DCC/Zones
in the region, one by one. This is a feast yet to be equaled by any other
region. Odubanjo region under Baba’s leadership organized the first ever regional
ministers seminar; the first regional ministers wives seminar; the first
regional Sunday school teachers seminar, the first regional revivals and soul
winning crusades, axis within the region. All these are in addition to the participation
of the region in the CAC centenary revivals where the region has been playing a
prominent role,” Pastor Oluwamakin stated.
