CAC Youth Directorate intensifies preparation for 2022 Youth Conference, holds Conference Planning Committee Meeting



As part of preparations for the 2022 International Youth Conference, the Directorate of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Nigeria and Overseas, recently held a Conference Planning Committee Meeting at CAC General Secretariat, Ibadan.


The three days meeting was attended by Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Secretaries, HODs Logistics, HODs Music, HODs Teenagers and Children and HODs Protocol of all the conference centres.


Day one was for participants from Ikeji I, Ikeji II and Ikeji III Conference Centres; Day two for participants of Odo-Owa, Jos and Abuja Conference Centres; and the third day was for participants from Port Harcourt and Benin Republic Conference Centres. 


Part of the deliberations at the meeting were youth accommodation project; mobilization of students at the grass root level for Academic Star Summit 2022 at JABU; 2022 National Youth Conference - Dates, Venues, Pamphlets, Registration, Logistics, Music, Security, Teenagers & Children, Technical (PA System, Instrument), Medical, Media, Feeding and Finance - as it is peculiar to each conference centre. 


A committee was constituted to work on having good sound systems for the conferences, the members include HODs Music, HODs Media and Conference Chairmen.

Below are dates of the 2022 Youth Conference Schedule: 

1. Odo-Owa Centre (Babajide Region) - 3rd – 6th August, 2022


2. Abuja Centre (Medaiyese Region) - 10th – 13th August, 2022


3. Jos Centre (Orekoya Region) - 10th – 13th August, 2022


4. Kano Centre (Adelaja Region) - 17th – 20th August, 2022


5. Port – Harcourt (Olutimehin Region) - 17th – 20th August, 2022


6. Ikeji I Centre (Odubanjo & Sophia Ajayi - 24th – 27th August, 2022

Regions)


7. Ikeji II Centre (Akiling, Akinyele, Essien - 31st Aug. – 3rd Sept., 2022

& Pearce Regions)


8. Ikeji III Centre (Babalola, Hanson & - 7th – 10th September, 2022

Orogun Regions   


9. Republic of Benin - 14th – 17th September, 2022


10. Enugu Centre (Odusona Region) - 16th – 19th November, 2022


The Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro told the committees that whatever the outcome of the conferences are, it will be a harvest in proportion to what they sowed in preparing.


He further urged them to take the responsibility of making all things ready and do what is right in God's sight.


The meeting also had in attendance the Assistant Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor S.O. Oke and Office Assistant, Brother Israel Afolayan.
