Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Victory Center Headquarters, Akingbade, Gbagi, Ibadan, under the spiritual leadership of Pastor and Lady Evangelist Stephen O. Ajayi, PhD, on Sunday, November 16, 2025, celebrated its 20th anniversary and appointed new Elders and Deaconesses during a colourful ceremony attended by dignitaries, church leaders, and invited guests.
The Elders and Deaconesses were appointed through the laying on of hands by the Superintendent of Mokola DCC, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, who officiated on behalf of the Church Authority.
Anniversary celebration was led by the church planter and DCC Superintendent, Igando DCC, Pastor Stephen O. Ajayi, PhD, who recounted the history of the assembly, its remarkable growth over the last two decades, and expressed gratitude to members for their unwavering support since inception.
Delivering the anniversary sermon, the Superintendent of Mokola DCC, Ibadan, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, spoke extensively on the essence of leadership.
The former Director of Youth Affairs, CAC Nigeria and Overseas, charged the newly appointed leaders to serve with diligence, integrity, and a deep understanding of their spiritual responsibilities.
Speaking after the induction, the Chairman of the Planning Committee for the Appointment of Elders and Deaconesses, Pastor Taiwo P. Ajayi, PhD, encouraged the appointees to devote themselves wholeheartedly to kingdom service. He reminded them that the new office is an opportunity to further the gospel, adding that “once you are interested in God’s business, He will be interested in your business.”
The event attracted several dignitaries, including Mr. and Mrs. Odukoya, Engineer Adeniran, Elder Adegoke, Evangelist and Mrs. Moses Babajide, Mr. Awominure, among others.
Also in attendance were pastors from various Christ Apostolic Church assemblies, including D/S Pastor D. B. Oladeji, D/S Pastor Gbenga Oyedeji, Pastor Olabayo, Pastor Elekolusi, Pastor Adegoke, Pastor Folorunso David Idowu, Pastor and Mrs. Mathew Oluleke, Pastor E.A. Ariyo, Pastor Adegbohungbe, and Pastor and Mrs. Adesope.
In his closing remarks, the Chairman of the Anniversary Committee, Mr. Oladiti, expressed gratitude to God for the success of the event. The celebration and induction marked a significant milestone for CAC Victory Center, highlighting its expanding leadership structure and two decades of impactful ministry.
