The President of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele has expressed profound gratitude to God following the release and safe return of members abducted by armed bandits from CAC Oke Isegun, Erùkú Zonal Headquarters, Erùkú, Kwara State, during a church service on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
In a statement issued by the Publicity Director of the Church, Pastor Ademisoye Alawode, the CAC President appreciated the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), the Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), the Inspector General of Police, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, and other security agencies for taking prompt and decisive actions that led to the rescue of the abducted worshippers.
He also acknowledged the support of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), heads of churches, organisations, and individuals who prayed, visited, called, and showed solidarity throughout the incident.
The CAC President further commended members of the Church at home and abroad for remaining steadfast, united in prayer, and supportive of the church leadership during the challenging period.
He concluded by praying for the safe return of other abducted persons in Kebbi, Niger, and other states across the country.
