The Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Babalola Region, Pastor G. S. Dada, last week inducted a new set of executives for the region’s youth fellowship.
A total of 21 executives were inducted through the laying on of hands by the Regional Superintendent, with Pastor Ayobami Ojo emerging as the new Regional Coordinator.
The service, held at the regional headquarters, CAC Eleta DCC Headquarters, had in attendance the outgoing and newly inducted executives of the regional youth fellowship, DCC and Zonal Superintendents within the region, as well as the Regional Secretary, Pastor A.O. Akinpelu and Regional Treasurer, Evang. Jacob Ayodele Osasona.
Pastor Dada charged the executives on the topic "Walk In Him" taking his text from Colossians chapter 2 verse 1 to 15.
The Outgone Regional Youth Coordinator, Pastor A.G. Bamigbola, in his remarks, appreciated God for seeing the team through its three-year tenure.
He expressed deep gratitude to the indefatigable Regional Superintendent for his fatherly understanding, counsel and consistent support. He also thanked the Regional Supervisor, Pastor Ayodele Peters, for always being there for the team.
Pastor Bamigbola noted that words were not enough to appreciate his team for their unwavering cooperation throughout the tenure.
Addressing the newly inducted executives, he reminded them that their appointment is a call to service. He urged them to serve faithfully, obediently, committedly and accountably.
He concluded by wishing the new leadership a more honourable and result-oriented tenure.
The newly appointed Babalola Regional Youth Coordinator of Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Ayobami Ojo, has outlined a five-point agenda that will guide the administration of the regional youth fellowship.
Delivering his acceptance and inaugural address, Pastor Ojo expressed gratitude to God and emphasized that leadership success requires teamwork. He noted that his administration would rely heavily on unity, cooperation and collective commitment.
“By the grace of God, in our time, team spirit shall be our guide,” he said.
Pastor Ojo reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to strengthening the youth fellowship and announced a five-point agenda focusing on key areas of development.
The five-point agenda focuses on spiritual growth, numerical growth, extension growth, financial growth, and physical and social growth.
The new leadership plans to ensure that youths are genuinely saved, discipled and spiritually empowered, making them fervent and active in God’s work.The administration aims to increase membership through training, evangelism and intentional follow-up strategies.
Pastor Ojo stated that church planting and strengthening of youth fellowship structures across the region will be a major priority.
Pastor Ojo said the fellowship would explore every legitimate opportunity to improve its financial standing, noting the scriptural importance of resources for ministry work.
The coordinator revealed plans to build youths who will positively influence their communities and announced the intention to secure a functional office space for storing fellowship materials and documents.
Pastor Ojo appealed for the continuous support of the Regional Superintendent as well as DCC and Zonal Superintendents, stressing that their encouragement is essential for success.
He also sought cooperation from other executive members to achieve the goals ahead. To the outgoing leadership, he extended appreciation and invited their continued counsel for the progress of the fellowship.
Pastor Ojo expressed confidence that the new administration, working as a team, would overcome challenges and advance the fellowship. He prayed that at the end of their tenure, they would hand over “a banner without stain” to their successors.
