Word session, spiritual songs as CACYOF Ibadan Center holds 2024 Annual Leaders Retreat

In a significant gathering of depth of revelation of God's word and spiritual songs, the 2024 edition of the Annual Leaders' Retreat of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF) Ibadan Center, held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the English Assembly of CAC Oke Iyanu, Sango DCC Headquarters.

The leaders' retreat themed "Divine Guidance for Young Leaders: The Importance of Seeking God's Guidance in Leadership Endeavors" was an impactful success, attracting youth leaders from Ibadan center of the church.

Speaking on the theme of the retreat, the Guest Speaker, Pastor Sam-Seyi Afolabi emphasized the paramount importance of divine guidance for leaders, explaining that of the various leadership qualities to be possessed by a leader, the ability to receive divine guidance stands out. 

He stressed that leaders should not rely on general information but must seek specific instructions for specific issues.

The programme also featured songs ministrations from CACYOF Ibadan Center Mass Choir; CAC Oke Iyanu Sango DCC Youth Choir; Minister Bolarinwa Iyiola (B 2 Strings), and Minister Oluwatoyin Emmanuel.

Evangelist Emmanuel Salako led the congregation of leaders to a powerful and fervent session of prayer.

Distinguished personalities who attended the retreat are, the Superintendent, CAC Sango DCC, Pastor J. B. Agunbiade; Coordinator, CACYOF Babalola Region, Pastor Bamgbola; Secretary, CACYOF Academic Summit Planning Committee, Pastor Dr. Peter Olanrewaju; Coordinator CACYOF Ibadan Center, Pastor S. O. Okeowo; Assistant Coordinator CACYOF Ibadan Center, Pastor Michael Olayera.

Others are, the Secretary, CACYOF Ibadan Center, Pastor Ayo; Choir Coordinator CACYOF Babalola Region, Pastor Akindele; a former lecturer at CACTS Ile Ife Ibadan campus, Pastor Akinbobola; Pastor and Mrs Ayeni; Mrs Babalola, among others.

The Planning Committee for 2024 Edition of the leaders retreat are, the Chairman, Pastor A. A. Daniels; Secretary, Mrs. Oladele Dorcas Oluwatoyin; Pastor Obaloluwa Babatunde; Bro Adedeji Tayo; Mrs. Olatoye and Elder Oluwasegun Oluwadare.

The retreat provided a platform for leaders to delve into the essence of divine guidance, with engaging discussions, musical expressions, and heartfelt prayers, leaving attendees with renewed sense of purpose and divine inspiration.
