Professor Oshun declares CACTS postgraduate studies open for all graduates, says seminary education for lovers of Sunday school

The Provost of Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS), Pastor/Professor Christopher O. Oshun has declared that seminary education is open to all lovers of Sunday School across church denominations, stating that CACTS postgraduate studies is open to graduates from every discipline.

Prof. Oshun made this known on Wednesday, November 23, 2023 at the Press Conference for the 42nd Convocation Ceremonies of the Seminary held at the institution.

According to him, the Seminary has 18 study centers and satellite campuses alongside the Main Campus in Ife, where "there are administrative networks and channels, unified syllabus and examiniations, results of every student better by the Senate and certificates for all students issues from the main campus" that ensure uniformity of administration across board.

Speaking to the press, the Professor of Church History, noted the activities and achievements of the Main Campus in the past months, to include, "reactivation of various affiliations with the Joseph Ayo Babalola University for Diploma in Religious Studies and B. A. Religious studies respectively; approval and commencement of the B.A. Degree and M.A. in Bible Translation domiciled in the Main Campus; council's approval at its meeting granting the Irri campus, degree awarding status" etc.

He also highlighted how some Academic and Non academic staff have in recent months been promoted, hinting that the salary increment scale announced by the CAC President for all Pastors of the church would also affect staff of the Seminary college. 

The cleric furthered that the institution now has, an online library funded by the Pastor Asoso UK Group; a website and petal presence via www.cactsileife.edu.ng etc.

On the 42nd Convocation ceremonies, Professor Oshun, noted the ministration of Pastor Ayo J. Owoseye at the convocation thanksgiving service holding on Wednesday, November 29, 2023; and the Convocation lecture holding on Thursday, November 30, 2023 with Reverend Ayomide Abraham as Convocation guest lecturer.

He assured the presence of the Church Authority and other notable figures from tertiary universities at the grand-finale of the ceremony slated for Friday, December 1, 2023.
