In a joyous occasion, the Anifowose Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos gathered together on Saturday November 25, 2023 to witness the Inauguration and induction service of the DCC and their Superintendent, Pastor E.S. Olatunji. The service marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the entire church.
The inauguration and induction service was filled with intense thanksgiving and celebration of God's faithfulness as church members came together to offer their prayers, support and warm wishes to Pastor Olatunji and his family.
The ceremony commenced with heartfelt worship as the congregation sang songs of and thanksgiving to God, and musical rendition performed by the mass choir of Anifowose DCC.
The induction rites were performed by Akiling Regional Superintendent, Pastor E.A. Olusoko.
The Welcome Address by the DCC Secretary Pastor S.K. Oyebola, was delivered by Pastor J.B. Omowaye who gave thanks to God for the success, achievement and improvements that recorded in the DCC within the short period.
In his charge, Pastor Olusoko said that, "it pleases the Lord and the Authorities of Christ Apostolic Church to inaugurate Anifowose DCC and induct Pastor Elijah Sunday Olatunji as the Superintendent over Anifowose DCC today 25th of November 2023 to care for the church, to teach and to feed in accordance to his talents and it's shepherd. It is very dangerous to work for God permissively."
He said when one works for God permissively, it is delaying the blessings of God from above one's your life and open doors for the devil to attack.
Preaching on the topic "Dangers of Working for God Permissively" the clergyman emphasized that, "it is impossible to do what you like when serving God. You need to be diligent in your work of service to God, never underate working for God wholeheartedly."
He noted that, as children of God, doing God's will is our prime ambition, as it makes God happy with us, adding that "everything you do to God should not be permissive, serve God with your strength, love and money."
The newly inducted DCC Superintendent Pastor E.S. Olatunji expressed his gratitude to the CAC authorities for being entrusted with the responsibility of shepherding the DCC, appreciating the congregation, committee, workers and ministers for their great support.
Awards of Appreciation was given to the Regional Superintendent, Pastor E.A. Olusoko for his great support to the DCC.
