Pastor Fasuyi who stated this while giving the welcome address on Thursday September 14, 2023 at CAC Missions Conference 2023 holding at CAC All Saints' Chapel, General Secretariat, Ibadan also told the missionaries that they were not called to make their own message, but making God's word the source of their message.
He urged them to desist from fables, stories, philosophical jargons and make the word of God their source.
"The bible has one unified message from Genesis to Revelation that those of us who are blessed with the knowledge of God and the salvation that the death and resurrection of Christ gave should spread that blessing to all peoples of the earth," he stated.
The day one of the conference started with praise session in appreciation of the great things the Lord has done. There was a revival dance of thanksgiving in the premises of the CAC General Secretariat which was led by the popular gospel singer in Ibadan, "Ayan Jesu."
The first lecture at the conference was delivered by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Orogun Region, Pastor E.S. Famuyide on the topic "Being Precedes Doing: The Impact of Character in Missions" while the second lecture was delivered by the former Missions Director, Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, Rev. Dr. Oluwashina on the topic "The Word Structured Missions."
The day one had in attendance the President of the church, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele who declared the conference opened and his wife, Mrs. S.K. Oladele; General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur and his, Mrs. Fidelia Mapur; Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde; Special Assistant to the President, Pastor T.D. Asokeji, members of CAC mission board and many others
