"Honoured by the Fathers", taking his text from John 12:26 said if the President of this country wants to honour somebody, the recipient of the award will see it as a great honour.

He noted that to honour means to lift someone on high esteem, saying that the recipients of the awards were honoured because they deserved the honour.

"We need to learn that wherever God put us, we should serve Him diligently and wholeheartedly because one day He will honour us. Once you're serving in God's vineyard, know that one day you will be honoured," he said.

Pastor Adelusi implored ministers and workers in God's vineyard to be faithful in the discharge of their service and do the work with humility.

The DCC Superintendent of Ayetoro DCC, Pastor Miller on behalf of other awardees appreciated God and the authority of the fellowship for the honour.
