CAC Ministers' Wives Fellowship gives awards to past leaders at Golden Jubilee Celebration

Without mincing words, it was a day of acknowledgement of immesurable kingdom service yesterday Tuesday May 10, 2023 when Christ Apostolic Church Ministers' Wives Fellowship gave awards to her past leaders at the ongoing golden jubilee celebration of the fellowship (Ikeji 1) holding at CAC  Babalola Memorial Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state.


A total number of 24 people were given awards which is apart of activities to commemorate her 50th anniversary. 


Those who were given plaques are General Superintendent of the church, Pastor Emmanuel Olatoro Odejobi,wife of CAC President, Mrs. Susanna Kehinde Oladele, wife of a late General Superintendent of the church, Mrs. Margret Bose Olutimehin, wife of CAC Missions Director, Mrs. Josephine Titilayo, DCC Superintendent of Ayetoro DCC, Pastor Joshua Goodness Miller, DCC Superintendent of Alekuwodo DCC, Pastor Ezekiel Olagoke Olajide, Late Pastor Gideon Oladejo Babatola, Late Mrs Dorcas Adetoun Babalola, Late Mrs Matilda Adedigba Akinyele, Late Mrs Comfort Oyepeju Latunde, Late Mrs Lea Efunjoke Odusona, Late Mrs Julianah Orewola Alokan, Late Mrs. Christiana Aduke Abiara and Late Pastor Samuel Ayodele Ekebafe.


Those given Certificates of Recognition are Mrs Lydia Adunola Emmanuel, Mrs Taiye Omolegho Okegwemeh, Mrs Victoria Oluwafunmilayo Akinsulure, Mrs Comfort Funmilayo Olaosebikan, Mrs Helen Olanma Ichelu, Mrs Isabella Nwonwuyule Osuigbo, Mrs Phoebean Modupeola Awelewa, Mrs Selina Oladoyinbo Adubina, Mrs Rose Ogheneneyerovo Edoh and Mrs Lydia Toyin Oloye.


The DCC Superintendent of Ebute-Meta DCC, Pastor Gbenga Adelusi while ministering on the topic 

"Honoured by the Fathers", taking his text from John 12:26 said if the President of this country wants to honour somebody, the recipient of the award will see it as a great honour.


He noted that to honour means to lift someone on high esteem, saying that the recipients of the awards were honoured because they deserved the honour. 


"We need to learn that wherever God put us, we should serve Him diligently and wholeheartedly because one day He will honour us. Once you're serving in God's vineyard, know that one day you will be honoured," he said.


Pastor Adelusi implored ministers and workers in God's vineyard to be faithful in the discharge of their service and do the work with humility.


The DCC Superintendent of Ayetoro DCC, Pastor Miller on behalf of other awardees appreciated God and the authority of the fellowship for the honour.
