Pastor Ekebafe inducted pioneer District Superintendent, as CAC New Covenant District inaugurated

DCC Superintendent of CAC Itire DCC, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun administering the induction rite on Pastor Abraham Ekebafe 


The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas on Saturday November 26, 2022 inaugurated CAC New Covenant District, Itire DCC, Lagos and inducted Pastor Abraham Ekebafe as the pioneer District Superintendent.


Also at the service,17 Deacons and five Deaconesses of the District were appointed into the office of Deacons and Deaconesses to support ministers in their various Assemblies. 


The inauguration of New Covenant District, induction of Pastor Ekebafe as the pioneer District Superintendent and appointment of Deacons and Deaconesses were done by the DCC Superintendent of CAC Itire DCC, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun who represented the Church Authority. 


While welcoming everyone to the event, the Music Director of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Tope Dada appreciated God for the privilege granted the church to witness the triple celebration service and the Church Authorities for approving the District. 


He finally appreciated the Itire DCC Superintendent, Pastor Oladokun for trusting and believing in the new District.


During the sermon, Pastor Oladokun who preached from Psalm 118:27-28 taught the Church that Christ Apostolic Church is a church of Fathers and Elders. 


According to him, if we want to experience the God of our Fathers - we should know our Fathers, their acts and tread in their footsteps. 


He told the church of the great acts of some of our founding Fathers and wrapped by admonishing the District to continually hunger and thirst for God in love and holiness.


Among the notable people present were Pastor Oladokun, Itire DCC Superintendent; Director of Christian Education, CAC Nigeria and Overseas,Pastor (Dr) S.O. Falade, Senior Pastor of CAC TWC; Pastor Seyi Adeyemi, Managing Director of Mutual Benefits Assurance Limited, Elder Akin Ogunbiyi and many others.
