Day 2 of the ongoing International Youth Conference and Thanksgiving Celebration of the Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Ikeji 1 Conference Center (comprising Ondo and Ekiti States) was extraordinarily filled with exciting experience marked by lectures, prayers, songs ministratations and powerful Impartation.
At the Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji on Thursday, 25th August, 2022 were Christ Apostolic Church clerics, including the Superintendent, Itire DCC, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun; the Coordinator, Christ International Divinity College (CINDICO), Pastor Abiodun Julius amongst others, who were received warmly by the Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro.
The Superintendent, CAC Itire DCC, Pastor Oladokun, in an exhortation he titled "Competing for the Future" from Genesis 30:25, counselled the youths on the need to be committed to having a great future.
"Today and tomorrow are your greatest asset, you must determine to make something beautiful out of it," he explained.
Pastor Oladokun harped that, "you are a product of yesterday, your past life. Your tomorrow, which is your future can be brighter than today."
He continued that, "God has made everybody to succeed. You either program your mind to succeed or program your mind to fail. To some, success is an exclusive party in which they are invited."
"Your future matters to God and it must matter to you also," the clergyman stated.
The Itire DCC Superintendent who described the significance of growth, citing the theme of the just concluded CAC Sunday School Manual "Grow in Grace and in the Knowledge of our Lord," challenged the youths to keep pursuing a great future and never think they have arrived because "when you are satisfied, you stop growing."
Pastor Oladokun who concluded by challenging the youths to stretch to excellence, gave his fatherly blessings to the youthful congregation.
Other lectures of the day include, "Discipleship: The Process for a Blissful Marriage" taken by the Coordinator, Christ International Divinity College (CINDICO), Pastor Abiodun Julius; "Apostolic Youths: Purpose Driven Youths" by Pastor Dr. Peter Olarenwaju; a Seminar for the youths on Social media, Career and Business taken by Pastor J. O. Oluwasanmi, Pastor Dr. Adedayo Julius and Bro Ayesanmi Babalola respectively.
The night session was full of praise and massive revival programme.
