The Director of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, has informed youths that Jesus specializes on impossibilities, saying that there is no issue he cannot handle.
"There is power with Him to resolve the issue of your life if only you can be deliberate about your coming to Him like the woman with the issue of blood," he said.
Pastor Gbuyiro stated this at the ongoing 2022 International Youth Conference and Thanksgiving Celebration of the Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Ikeji 1 Conference Center comprising Odubanjo and Sophia Ajayi Region (Ondo and Ekiti States) holding at Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
Speaking on the topic, "Somebody touched me" culled from Luke 8:43-48 with emphasis on Verse 46, the Director of Youth related the story of the woman who got healed from Menorrhagia, the issue of blood, to challenge the youths on being desirous and expectant throughout the course of the Conference.
He explained that despite being in the midst of a large crowd, only the woman received healing because she did not take Jesus for granted like the others did.
"Not everyone received healing from Jesus because of their foolish display of taking Jesus for granted when in His presence. People will come and go without miracles because they have taken Jesus for granted," said the cleric.
The clergyman who highlighted major lessons from the story of the woman for the youths to note, stated that, she went to Jesus with a purposeful heart, was deliberate and intentional.
According to him, "If care is not taken, you will return home the way you came all because you are not being deliberate but are taking Jesus for granted. It is possible to take the presence of Jesus for granted if no issue has brought you here or that issue is not serious in your eyes."
Challenging the youths to touch Jesus in the conference like the woman text of focus did, Pastor Gbuyiro pointed that, "touching Jesus is the beginning of new story."
