CAC Authorities set Tuesday or Wednesday for Bible Study Class

CAC President, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele

The Authorities of Christ Apostolic Church have directed all assemblies of the church to hold their Bible Study Class on either Tuesday or Wednesday of every week.

This was a joint decision which was made during the DCC, Zonal and District Superintendents Meeting with the Church Authorities at the just concluded General Council Meeting.

President of CAC, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele  while unveiling the new Unified Bible Study Manual to the congregation also said it is mandatory for all CAC assemblies across the globe to use the manual and it must be held on either Tuesday or Wednesday of every week as agreed at the meeting.

It would be recalled that during dedication of the Bible Study Manual,

Pastor Oladele emphasised the in-depth study of the Word, alongside prevailing prayer and spiritual worship as the core values of CAC mission statement.

The President stated "we are gathered here to re-establish one of the three landmarks upon which Christ Apostolic Church was founded. That is, in-depth study of the Word of God, prevailing prayer and spiritual worship. The revival of 1930 was ignited by the power of the word which started in 1918 when our forebears were inspired to seek the Word of God through correspondence with Faith Tabernacle as far as Philadelphia in America and later Europe."

Highlighting the mission statement of the church, "Leading people into the knowledge of God through in-depth study of the Word, prevailing prayer and spiritual worship", Pastor Oladele stated that the robust foundation of the Word of God has helped greatly in guiding our leaders and sustaining churches against strange doctrines.

He continued that, "we are generally known as 'A People of Prayer' but we are also a people of the Word and of Worship"

While he unveiled and dedicated the Bible Study Manual for centralised study in the Name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; the CAC President, on behalf of the church authority, commended the efforts of the Christian Education Department, its immediate past Director, Pastor S. O. Aluko and the Acting Director, Pastor Samuel Falade for working assiduously to getting the high-quality study manuals produced in good time.

The Manual, which is for one year (from April 2022 to March 2023) costs only N500 and it is now on sale at CAC General Secretariat, Basorun, Ibadan and at Regional Headquarters across the country.
