Our response to the Word of God determines His performance in our lives, says Pastor Gbuyiro at Youth Coordinators' Meeting

Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro

The Director of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, has said that our response(s) to the Word of God determine(s) His performance in our lives.

He thereafter explained that God does not do anything with our lives without our consent just as it was with Mary, adding that our belief in His Word is reflected in our response to it.

Pastor Gbuyiro stated this while ministering on the topic “How to Make Your Life Count” (taking his text from Luke 1:27-38) at the recently held CAC Youth Fellowship Coordinators' Meeting held at Babalola International Memorial Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

He laid the foundation of his message by reminding everyone of the preciousness of life which is a gift from God and is permitted to be lived once.

According to him, there has never been any revival anywhere in the world without the involvement of man, saying that late Apostle Joesph Ayo Babalola gave God his consent and God made him an agent of Revival in his world.

The Cleric said there is delay in getting another revival because we are yet to see men who shall give God their consent and take responsibility for what God wants to do.

The Director of Youth Affairs charged that until our response becomes, “Here I am, send me”, our lives will never count, noting that the human life is time-bound which makes the need for our response urgent.

He admonished everyone at the meeting to be bothered about the impossibility of many things when the scripture says nothing shall be impossible with God.

Pastor Gbuyiro noted that the reason for this is our inability to take responsibility.

"A life that will count is a life of sacrifice, just as seen in the life of Late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola. So, until we are ready to lay something on the altar of God and forget it there, our lives will not count," he said.

The meeting had participants from nooks and crannies of the country. Also in attendance, the Coordinator of Christ Apostolic Church Youth and Young Adults in North America (Latunde Region), Pastor Adekunmi Browne.

2022 Youth Programmes were unveiled at the meeting, and also the sales of 2022 Great Easter Retreat pamphlet.
