Christ Apostolic Church, Mount of Ease, Ebutte-Meta Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) has disassociated herself from a report being shared on social media that the church made a Muslim honorary Evangelist and Elder.
Opera News, an online platform reported yesterday evening that a certain Akeem Sodiq A.K.A Labule was made an Evangelist and Elder of the Christ Apostolic Church (Mount of Ease) Ebute-Meta DCC.
The church in a statement signed by its Superintendent, Pastor Gbenga Adelusi said the man in question is a member of the Community Vigilante Group and the Church employs their services on Sundays.
He noted that they are preaching to him to accept Christ as Saviour and he has started coming to Church, they never made him honorary Evangelist or Elder.
